Paris Games Week 2017 Trailer

The Shadow of the Colossus remake was first announced at E3 2017 last June, seen by many as the most surprising announcement by Sony during its conference. Sony's Shuhei Yoshida assured fans that despite the visual touch-up and modernization, the remake will still feel like the original game.

US-based indie studio Bluepoint Games is handling the remake. Bluepoint Games is renowned for having worked on HD remasters of several high-profile games. The list includes God of War Collection, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. The studio also worked on the HD remaster of the original Shadow of the Colossus.

Shadow of the Colossus was first released in 2005 for the PS2. It's a beloved classic that many gamers consider as one of the best games ever created.
