Gwyneth Paltrow Returning For Glee’s 100th Episode
The Academy Award winning actress is reportedly in talks to reprise her role as substitute teacher Holly Holiday in the two-part 100th episode celebration of Glee. After her previous multi-episode stint Gwyneth Paltrow walked away with an Emmy for her troubles and showcased her surprisingly good singing voice.
Several of the original cast members will also be coming back to William McKinley High for the milestone episode, Dianna Agron, Heather Morris, Amber Riley, Mark Sailing and Harry Shum Jr are all confirmed to appear as is former guest star and Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth. Former Gossip Girl actor Chance Crawford has also been added to the cast for the two-part episode, he’ll play Biff the new boyfriend of Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron).
Fans of the show have been able to vote for their favourite Glee songs with at least 10 being chosen to be given a remix for the 100th episode. Fox’s entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly revealed earlier this week that the remaining episodes of season five will be set in New York. Showrunner Ryan Murphy has yet to confirm which characters will be making an appearance in New York but did let on that this will be the end for some of the characters.
"Some are going to be graduating and moving; creatively, it would be ridiculous that everybody moves to New York. There will be some that will graduate and move on and they'll arc back in when we do special episodes. They'll always be a part of it. The way it's going to dovetail next season, we'll see some familiar faces coming around in some capacity. But for this season, there will be a graduation, several of the cast-members will move on and a few others will go to New York."
