Time to get ready for all the wonders that comes with Narnia and the universe it comes with. Now you can prepare for a 4th instalment in the films inspired by the writings of C.S.Lewis. The film which will be entitled The Silver Chair. The project will be picked up by TriStar studios. Fans of Narnia have loved Aslan and the worlds that comes with walking through the closet.

So, what does this 4th instalment have in store? While no talent has been tied to the projects yet, there is wind of who the writer behind The Silver Chair is.  David Magee will take the book and adapt it into a film. He already did wonders with The Life of Pi as well as the enchanting Finding Neverland. Fans of the novels are worried that The Silver Chair is darker and less exciting than some of the earlier books. The previous films have grossed billions worldwide. The franchise began in 2005, and I can say that I cried more when Aslan 'died' than I have in many films. The 4th instalment is set to be just as wonderful visually as the movies before it. The CGI has always been great in the movies, and I do hope that this new Narnia will be no exception. There is still no director tied to the film but with TriStar and The Mark Gordan Company leading production, there is no doubt that a big name could step up. Mark Gordan commented that:

“Developing this project with The C.S. Lewis Company has been immensely exciting and a real joy. We are so pleased to team up with our good friends at TriStar and our partners at eOne to introduce this new, magical chapter of the Narnia franchise to fans around the world, both old and new,” said Gordon.

While no date has been set for the release yet it is still super exciting to know that there is another Narnia on the way. Keep your cupboards open and brace a new adventure.
